PRAYERSTHIS was another wonderful site. A Buddhist temple on the outskirts of Shanghai. People enter and purchase a stick of incense. They light the incense, make a wish, and the smoke from the incense carries their wish off to the heavens. A lot of city people came and went, totally ignoring the gawking tourists.
